Non-Surgical Uterine Fibroid Treatment Center Locations Near You

All of our locations focus on the non sugrical and FDA approved procedure, Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) which is also called Uterine Artery Embolization. Our interventional radiologists perform the procedure at all of our outpatient facilities.

During the 30 to 45 minute procedure, your doctor will be able to provide you with effective treatment solution for your uterine fibroids through a number of steps:

  1. We locate the fibroids using advanced ultrasound technology. The process is called fibroid mapping.
  2. The doctor numbs the upper thigh or wrist and makes a small incision.
  3. A catheter is inserted through this incision and then threaded into an artery that’s supplying blood to the fibroids.
  4. Tiny particles are released through the catheter, which blocks the artery’s blood flow.
  5. This decreased blood flow causes the fibroids to shrink.
  6. As the fibroid shrinks and dies, symptoms begin to decrease over the next few weeks.
