All Brands Press Release 2025 2

NORTHBROOK, IL, February 17, 2026 — Bringing her signature Love & Hip Hop energy to the cause, Shay Johnson’s viral ‘fibroid dance’ challenge turns a catchy TikTok-style screen-scrolling routine into a powerful movement for women’s health awareness. The reality TV star and women’s health advocate is joined by “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” costar Vonshae Taylor, Eliza Reign, and Nikki Natural to take the  #FibroidChallenge on a special episode of “ A Day with Shay” on the USA Fibroid Centers’ YouTube channel at 12:00 p.m. (EST)  on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026.

The episode features a series of discussions where Johnson shares the reality of fibroid disease, which includes heavy periods and other symptoms, such as pain, bloating, and urinary incontinence. Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that grow within or on the uterus.  Although over 26 million American women are affected by fibroids, the” Loving Hip Hop Miami” stars talk about the lack of awareness,  sharing stories about how the condition has impacted friends and family members’ daily life, energy levels, and mental health.

Johnson also discusses the benefits of uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), a non-surgical treatment that provides relief and preserves the uterus without the risks associated with surgical fibroid removal.

“We talk about our careers, our kids, and our relationships, but we rarely talk about our health until it’s a crisis,” says Johnson. “Knowledge is power, and knowing there are non-surgical options like UFE can change everything.” Johnson herself underwent a surgical procedure to remove fibroids, unaware that uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) was an option.
