New York, New York, Oct. 6, 2025 –In recognition of World Mental Health Day, (October 10), USA Fibroid Centers will air a special YouTube premiere, “Fibroids: It’s Not Your Fault, focusing on the often-overlooked emotional and mental health challenges faced by women living with uterine fibroids. The episode of the Talk About “U” will air on Friday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m. EST on the USA Fibroid Centers’ YouTube channel.
The program, hosted by Kym Lee, a USA Fibroid Ambassador, features a discussion with two distinguished New York-based mental health experts: Katiuscia Gray and Amanda Fludd.
- Katiuscia Gray, LCSW, Psychotherapist: Founder of Mind Meets Movement Counseling Services, Gray specializes in an integrative health approach, utilizing expertise in trauma, somatic psychotherapy, and anxiety treatment to emphasize the link between the mind and body for overall well-being.
- Amanda Fludd, LCSW, Psychotherapist, Author, and Speaker: Fludd focuses on providing specialized therapy and coaching for women navigating high-stress lifestyles, offering strategies for self-care and mental space.
These two experts will discuss the practical application of mindfulness techniques to help women reconnect with their bodies amidst feelings of pain and disconnection often association with a chronic condition. They will also be providing actionable clinical strategies for self-advocacy to help women navigate dismissive medical environments.
