It’s Only Entertainment recently featured the fourth annual fibroid awareness event “A Night in Full Bloom,” sponsored by USA Fibroid Centers, which took place on July 25, 2024, at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Hosted by Cynthia Bailey from Real Housewives of Atlanta and celebrity makeup artist Kym Lee, the event was a notable success, bringing together a distinguished lineup of guests including Angela Yee from Power 105, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, R&B artist Sevyn Streeter and USA Fibroid Center CEO Dr. Yan Katsnelson.
The event aimed to raise awareness about fibroids and promote treatment options, including uterine fibroid embolization. Dr. Katsnelson emphasized the significance of educating women about their choices, highlighting that fibroids affect 40 million women across the U.S., with 80% of Black women and 70% of white women developing the condition by age 50.
Attendees were inspired by empowering speeches and a special performance by Sevyn Streeter. Organizers hope these compelling stories of resilience will foster a community of hope, reflecting USA Fibroid Center’s steadfast dedication to education and support for women’s health.
